Advocacy Program Guide

GSN provides a guide for administrators and lead teachers to begin and improve their school's Advocacy / Advisory program. In addition, a teacher / administrator can sign up for an hour of individual coaching to learn how to implement a unit on a specific topic in their school.

Social Emotional Learning Curriculum

SEL is the process through which children and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to: understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, make responsible decisions. Coaching

GSN’s virtual training will take place with a GSN expert and can be customized to fit specific needs or questions to develop the unit of your choice. What is included in GSN's Virtual Coaching? A rationale of the topic, extensive context, and specific activities to start the unit right away!

After implementing Advocacy at our school for just one semester, we have already had two new families come to Westgate because of finding out about the Advocacy program and the associated Bullying Prevention Initiative we are doing.
